I started my HR career over two decades ago, at a time when most Indian organisations were still figuring out what an HR department was supposed to do. Since then, I have worked across industries — real estate, hospitality, corporate services — handling everything from recruitment and payroll to industrial relations, labour law compliance, and organisational development.
WHAT I DO
I currently lead HR functions at Eros Group, one of Delhi NCR’s established business conglomerates, where I manage the full spectrum of people operations across multiple entities. My work spans talent management, compliance, workforce planning, and HR systems — at both the strategic and operational level.
WHY THIS BLOG
I started Workforce Wisdom because I kept seeing the same problems — businesses struggling with basic compliance, HR professionals unsure how to handle disputes, entrepreneurs hiring their first employees without any framework. There is a lot of theoretical HR content online. There is very little that is practical, India-specific, and written by someone who has actually dealt with a labour inspector, drafted a charge sheet, or sat across the table in a conciliation proceeding.
That is the gap this blog tries to fill.
